Weekly Photo Challenge: Window (to the past)

Spring flowers in vase on the window

I never thought I’d use this photo for anything, although it has such a sentimental value for me. But now I think it’s the perfect photo for this theme. Wild spring flowers from the countryside on the window of the small old apartment in Romania. Takes me back in time…

  2. I know that Romania has most breathtaking countrysides; I hope you will show us some of them, some day, though you are relocated now ;). I am sorry to hear that 2013 wasn’t the greatest year for you either, something tells me this one may be even harder (not for you, but for me). Whatever happens I wish you to keep positive and in good health. Have a great 2014, Laura!

    • Romania does have beautiful countrysides, it’s a great idea to post some photos! I will look for what I have, but unfortunately I was not much into nature photography at the time I was there, although I do have a few photos of my grandma’s house :D.

The last 3 and a half years have not been very good for me all together. Of all of them, 2013 was in fact the best for one reason, but still not good by my standards, and looking back to what I did and to what I wanted to do it was not a great year. The only reason why it was good it’s because I did learn a lot about myself and about being strong and that gives me the insight to think that 2014 will be better.

I am sorry to hear that you do not have a positive outlook on the new year. I know we all have different reasons and contexts but I wish and hope with all my heart that you are wrong and that things will be easier than you think. I have learned in 2013 (:D) that the best thing is to stay positive.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, and a great 2014 to you too!
